Co-founder & President
Paolo Bastone, MSc
Paolo has been integral since the start of the foundation. He leads daily operations, fosters relations with partners, and coordinates fundraising activities. He also holds a Bachelor of Science and a Master of Science in Neuroscience from McGill University and is currently a dental student at McGill University.

Vice President
Adam Le, MSc
Joining the team in 2022, Adam has spearheaded our digital media initiatives and plays a vital role in our daily operations and fundraising efforts. He holds a Bachelor of Science in Microbiology & Immunology and a Master of Science in Neuroscience from McGill University and is currently a dental student at McGill University.

Kassandra Gervasi
Kassandra is an active community leader, bringing an assortment of experiences in coordination and event planning to the MIND Foundation Canada. She holds a Bachelor of Arts in honours Political Science at Université de Montréal and is pursuing a Master of Arts in Political Science and Economics at McGill University.

Alessia Tamburrino
Alessia is a marketing major at the John Molson School of Business with a passion for creativity and connection. As the Social Media Coordinator for the MIND Foundation Canada, Alessia is eager to use her skills to support the foundation’s initiatives and give back to our community.

Matteo Cefaloni
Matteo is a finance major at the John Molson School of Business, combining strong analytical skills with a strategic mindset. Passionate about business and innovation, he brings a sharp eye for detail and is excited to use his skills to obtain strategic partnerships that can further support the foundation.

Mayumi is a Neuroscience Master’s student at McGill University dedicated to community building and mental health advocacy. She brings a wealth of experience organizing large-scale events and hopes to promote greater awareness and support for mental health through her work with the MIND Foundation Canada.

Angelia Ierfino
Angelia is a Honours Psychology undergraduate student at the University of Ottawa with a passion for counselling and mental health support. As the Support Group Coordinator for the MIND Foundation Canada, she is excited to foster safe spaces for connection and healing, while using her knowledge and empathy to support the foundation’s mission.
